Congratulations to Brandon Richer and Lyle Gardner, our Job of the Week winners for 12/20/11. Brandon and Lyle replaced a standard efficiency gas furnace with a York Variable Speed Modulating Gas Furnace at the La June residence in Kent, providing them with improved comfort and efficiency.
Referred to us by a friend, the La June’s chose BelRed to replace their existing furnace, which no longer met their needs for comfort, reliability, or efficiency.
The return and supply plenums were sealed from the inside to prevent air leaks, ensuring maximum comfort and efficiency and to prevent infiltration of particles from the garage space
A York, variable speed, modulating gas furnace was selected for the home. This furnace provides the perfect amount of heat and airflow every time there is a call for heart, resulting in improved comfort and efficiency. It operates quietly, and can also enhance indoor air quality.
The new furnace was installed with fully sealed, aerodynamic fittings to ensure maximum comfort and efficiency. A new filter rack was also installed to make it easier to maintain the filters in the furnace. Code updates were done to ensure safety and protect the homeowners, including: correcting gas piping, and sealing and wrapping plenums.
